Seems I floated across the Brisbane River just then..
Just went for a great 8k run from Auchenflower Station down the river and back.
My first run across the new "Go Between" Bridge - named after the legendary Brisbane band.
Alas, Google Maps seems to only have an old photo from the air, so I appear to have levitated across the Brisbane River.
On another note, superb Kudos to the Brisbane City Council who seem to have no problem at all integrating serious, commuting scale bikeways through the whole city. While Sydney grumbles about losing inner-city parking spaces, Brisbane is relishing in not needing a car to get about.
I miss my home town a lot when I run along this river.
