Osher (Andrew) Günsberg

The continuing adventures of a Brisbane boy far from home, as told to the internets through words and pictures. On the Blog since 2003

An Alsatian licks a baby's head. I shoot it with a Holga. It's cute.

Trawling through some old negatives today I came upon this shot from I don't know where.

I do know that I shot it, but where - I don't remember.

I think I was at a party somewhere here in LA, in someone's kitchen (You'll always find me in the kitchen at parties)..

Seemed a perfectly good thing to take a photo of.

More from the film lost in the desert : Death Valley Holga Panorama at 48ºC

Media_httpfarm5static_bcawy

Death Valley is a remarkable place. Appropriately named too! The coolest it got was around 44ºC in the night. Just epic, moisture-sucking heat. So hot you don't even sweat.

My brother and I drove all over it for a few days, and occasionally I'd punish him by pulling over to take some photos.

Spying these dunes by the side of the road, I had to pull over and snap off a few.

If you ever travel to LA, rent a car (a reliable one!) and pop out here. Try to avoid going there in July like we did though. It's really, really hot.
